Here are some facts about me, Ms. Asztalos: - I love animals and nature (especially the water!) My favorite animals are dogs, fish, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs! - I enjoy painting, although I am still a beginner and have a lot to learn. - Snorkeling is one of my favorite activities. - I lived in Stoughton when I was your age and went to Stoughton Public Schools. - My favorite place to go on vacation is the Caribbean. - Over the summer, I went jetskiing and whitewater rafting for the first time. - I live in Mansfield, MA. It's close to Gillette Stadium. - I have two younger brothers. - I started learning to play the flute in fourth grade and continued playing throughout college! - This is my fifth year teaching at the South School. - My favorite Disney princesses are Ariel and Belle. - I was on one episode of a children's television show (Arthur) when I was in third grade. - Spelling is one of my strengths. Drawing is not one of my strengths. - I used to be a Zumba (dance fitness) instructor for adults and kids until I had to have knee surgery. - My favorite seasons are summer and fall. - I like to collect tiny glass animal figurines.
Here are some facts about our pre-practicum student teacher and teacher's aide, Ms. Rich: - In the winter time, I enjoy snowboarding and during the summer I enjoy playing golf with my brother. - I like taking care of myself by practicing yoga. - My favorite book in the fourth grade was Charlotte's Web. - I have a nephew who is starting Kindergarten this year and I am super excited for him! - Coloring and reading are some of my favorite things to do to relax. - I've never had a cavity! - I love the Fall because of Halloween and the Patriots. - Ziplining through the rainforest of Costa Rica was my favorite vacation! - My favorite movie growing up was The Wizard of Oz. - I am thrilled to be a part of your 4th grade class this year and cannot wait to learn with you all!
